Belarus marks Day of National Remembrance of Victims of Great Patriotic War and Genocide of Belarusian People

As many as 85 years ago, on 22 June 1941 the Great Patriotic War broke out, becoming the greatest tragedy and the greatest heroic deed of the Belarusian people. From the very first days of the occupation, the Nazis and their accomplices systematically and ruthlessly pursued a policy of genocide and scorched earth in Belarus.
